20% off Print Packages 20x30" and up If you've been contemplating printing BIG, now is the time to do it! All print packages with an initial print of 20x30" or bigger (or more than 600 sq inches) are now 20% off. Almost everything looks better bigger, so take advantage of this sale to see for yourself! We actually received this newest printer from Epson in December of last year but have been testing and profiling it to our standards before releasing it into production. But now we're ready and are very excited about our new capabilities. To begin with, this is a 60" printer so we can now offer prints up to 60" wide by any length! Prints this size really have an impact! Initially we are offering Premium Lustre and our new Breathing Color Canvas in these sizes - we will add new media at that size based on its availability and client demand. The 11880 has a reformulated inkset with a wider gamut than the 9800 and uses a new screening technology that makes the prints even sharper. Bigger prints and higher quality - a hard combination to beat! 8 and 16 Bit Tango Scans Now Same Price! We are now offering all Tango scans in either 8 or 16 bit versions at the same price! While we continue to believe that most images do not require 16 bit scans to make optimum prints, we leave this choice up to you. Simply indicate on your order form for scan only or print package orders which you prefer. If you are not sure which to ask for, please don't hesitate to call and we will discuss it with you. For some time we've been searching for a high quality waterproof canvas (the Epson Canvas is not waterproof). All of the waterproof canvases we've tested didn't meet our quality standards - most look like placemats! Finally we have discovered a waterproof canvas we are happy to offer - it is a beautiful canvas from Breathing Color that offers all the qualities we look for in a canvas. It is very stretchable, has great dynamic range and color gamut and is completely waterproof. It is a matte canvas and needs to be coated in order to create the proper final finish. We can do this coating for you (or help you do it yourself). The final product looks similar in finish to the Epson canvas but is completely resistant to water - you can literally soak it in a bucket with no ill effects! We're excited to finally offer a high quality canvas that can stand up to almost any conditions. In order to simplify our preflighted print pricing we have moved to a straight per sq foot pricing model. In order to determine how much your preflighted prints will cost, simply multiply the height x width (including borders), divide by 144 and multiply by the price per sq foot of the media chosen: Photo Papers:$10.80 sq/ft Fine Art Papers: $18 sq/ft Canvas/Specialty Paper: $20 sq/ft With the introduction of our new Epson 11880, there are now new ICC profiles to download for those of you submitting preflighted files for printing. Note that we also are now requesting that you apply the appropriate profile to your file before submitting it - this is to allow you to select your preferred rendering intent during the conversion (typically relative or perceptual). We've upgraded our FTP service to give all our customers a private, password-protected folder for uploading their files to Color Folio for preflighted prints or print packages from digital files.
